Bike Course
(56 miles)
- A scenic out and back course with rolling hills
- Most of the course has a 6-10 foot shoulder
- There are several challenging hills ranging from 3% to 9% grade
- There will be 5 aid stations with bottle hand ups on the course
- Gatorade Endurance Formula, Water and PowerGels will be available
- Bananas will be offered at the bike turnaround
Bike cut-off: Any athlete that has not hit aid station three at the Loudon Library, approximantely mile 27.5 by 11:15 am will not be permitted to continue in the race. Any athlete that had not crossed the timing mat by 1:45 pm which is five hours and thirty minutes after the start of the last swim wave will not be permitted to continue in the race.
