Bike Course

(56 miles)

  • A scenic out and back course with rolling hills
  • Most of the course has a 6-10 foot shoulder
  • There are several challenging hills ranging from 3% to 9% grade
  • There will be 5 aid stations with bottle hand ups on the course
  • Gatorade Endurance Formula, Water and PowerGels will be available
  • Bananas will be offered at the bike turnaround

Bike cut-off: Any athlete that has not hit aid station three at the Loudon Library, approximantely mile 27.5 by 11:15 am will not be permitted to continue in the race. Any athlete that had not crossed the timing mat by 1:45 pm which is five hours and thirty minutes after the start of the last swim wave will not be permitted to continue in the race.

    About the event

    The day starts with a freshwater swim in Lake Winnipesaukee before athletes take on a scenic, one-loop bike course over rolling hills. Athletes finish the day on a picturesque run course that travels along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee with spectacular views of the majestic White Mountains.
